The next meeting of the Sheffield Arts and Wellbeing Network will take place on Tuesday 5th February 6.00 – 8.00pm at the Harland Café – 72 John Street Sheffield, South Yorkshire S2 4QU (www.harlandcafe.co.uk). The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in the connections between the arts and health. The Harland café is a lovely venue that serves great food and drinks at very reasonable prices.
This is the first follow-up meeting after the exciting launch event of the Network on 2nd November 2012. Over 100 people attended, including artists, researchers, clinicians, service-users. Attendees took part in a diverse range of workshops and activities, heard keynote speeches from Dan Jarvis MBE, Shadow Minister for Arts & Culture, Alex Coulter, Chair of the National Alliance for Arts & Wellbeing, and discussed how to take the network forward. The focus of the meeting on the 5th will be to build on the launch event and to develop plans for collaborations and projects.
