CAST Anthology Launch

Sheffield’s Creative Art Support Team (CAST) and St Mary’s Timebuilders are launching a new anthology of poetry and artwork, in recognition of World Mental Health Week.
Exploring concepts of home, Keys to the Door is a collection of work created over the past year by members of CAST: a group passionate about the benefits of art to wellbeing.
Working with mental health service users, carers, and volunteers, CAST aims to promote creative expression as a benefit to everybody’s mental health.
The Keys to the Door launch will be held on the 1st October at 2pm, in The Art House, Sheffield. Everyone is welcome. The event will include talks and readings from the creators themselves, and the chance to discuss themes introduced in the anthology: birthplace, exile, isolation, comfort and location. Refreshments will be available and the book will also be on sale.
