Animated with the buzz of potential
they flit in and out, and out of the big
diamond honeycomb
A zesty blur of yellow and black,
Of Varsity shirts and drones
carrying electrified laughter
Retrieving from the books
grains of knowledge
that possess the promise of blossoming.
It’s the Northern capital Manchester
that hails its worker bee –
Here, Sheffield’s hive is alive
