This project is the result of a collaboration between the University of Sheffield LGBT Staff Network and LGBT Student Committee, who worked with staff from our Human Resources Department.
During Autumn 2012, current students and members of staff at The University of Sheffield came together to create an inspiring and heart-felt short film about their experiences of being LGBT here at Sheffield.
Questions ranging from ‘What was it like coming out?’ to ‘What is it like being out and studying/working at the University?’ were put to our volunteers in the hopes that it will provide people with an understanding of who we are, the challenges we face (both past and present) and to help new and prospective students and staff gain an insight into the LGBT Community at the University and the wider city of Sheffield.
